It's true that VM do not record every call, but you've stated that NO COMPANY does, which is incorrect.

Off course they do and you can continue to believe that for as long as you want, most do not record every call in reality.

But you did leave out the bottom part of the same post which was quite convenient of you by the way which also states.

As I said before not every company records every call as they either do not have the storage capability or feel that is are reasons enough to record every call as they are used primarily for training and quality purposes only which is usually the reason stated on the call.

Did you go with the SKY deal then, if so as long as you are happy then thats ok.
But be aware after 12 months SKY charge for engineers and the wait for an engineer is usually a bit longer.

Re: Virgin Bad value ??
I turned Sky down on their offer, as in 6 months time I would have been in the same situation, trying for a deal from Virgin. Nope I am going to transfer over to Virgin.

Anyway got the deal I was happy with. unlimited calls, 20meg BB, 2 V+HD boxes, sky sports and movies and £119 installation fee, (wouldn't budge on it). £77.94 for the first 6 months and £85.44 after that. Installation Sept 1st
Phoned to cancel Sky and was offered everything, Free BB, free calls, half price TV package and free HD, all for 6 months. Was very tempted, but took me to leave them to get a deal out of them after 10 years of loyal custom, so stuck by my guns and ended the contract.
Amazing how friendly they are while trying to keep your custom, but when they find they cant sway you it all becomes very matter of fact.
Oh well hope its gonna be worth it

Not exactly true, a call can bee recorded "covertly" and used as evidance IF doing so is in "the public intrest". But pretty much only a judge can decide if something is in the public intrest.

It is not in the public interest and therefore cannot be used.

Re: Virgin Bad value?
Surely by the company having a message saying that calls may be recorded then both parties are put on notice - thereby freeing you from the obligation to notify the call agent that the call may be recorded?
