Customer Service. God help us
My internet connection has been irratic for a few days, sometime off for a 2/3 hrs at a time, mostly at evenings... so 12:30 last night I gave them a phone to find out the problem, automatic answer phone kicked in blaa,blaa,blaa.. press blaa to talk to engineer, waited over a hr..... then auto voice said......SORRY ACCOUNTS are Closed, opening Hr between 9 am & 7pm... phone went dead......
GREAT SERVICE VM ...... at least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a frigging mask......

Call as soon as possible during the day as that time of night you are waiting for offshore.

Did you call tech support?
If there was a tech problem why call accounts?

Re: Customer Service. God help us
This happened to myself a couple of weeks ago after I experienced the samething regarding erratic broadband connection. I phoned at the time I did because I hoped that it would be a good time what with most people being in bed or about to goto bed and so would NOT be talking to Tech Support, like the OP I was surprised to hear 'all lines are closed, call back at another time' or words to that effect. I had gone through the 150, Press 3, Press 2, Press whatever options to get to where I needed to be, so was stunned to have been abruptly cut off too.

You answered your own question you rang 150 which is Customer Services not 151 which is Technical Support so no wonder you were cut off.

I find that odd because the message is something that would be played on the Customer Services number as Broadband Technical Support is open 365 days a year 24/7 which includes Christmas Day and the is nothing in the call tree that could trigger that message.

I am not doubting you at all just puzzled by the message you got, the was probably a call routing glitch that caused it.

If the OP dialled 151 and followed the calltree for Broadband tech support, then got that message, then it was a fault/glitch for sure.
If it happens again then I would advise to re-dial.

It has to be a glitch if he called either of the standard numbers and followed the calltree options, I would advise redial every time the same as yourself.
