Re: V+ box when already on XL tv?
Can I just clarify the options if I'm currently on TV L?
Upgrade to XL and get V+ - £49 'service charge' & £11.50/month increase
Stay on L and get V+ (no VBox) - £99 charge & £5/month
Stay on L and get V+, keep V box - £49 charge & £5/m V+ & £5/m V box
Are those right, any other options?
Also is there any bundle price for Ph L, BB L, TV L (or XL) & V+?

Re: V+ box when already on XL tv?
When my VM V+ Box was installed 3 weeks ago I expected to have to keep the original VM Box, and pay £5 a month, but the Fitter said NO and that he must return it to HQ, he, of course, fitted the card, which I had for about 6 years, to the new one.

I'm not sure how you can say it with a straight face - it could just as easily say
£49 V+ offer is available to all - as long as existing customers have Richard Branson tattooed on their back
It's just a totally irrational prejudice against customers (since existing customers = allll customers), and it's in total conflict with VM claims to treat new/exisiting customers EQUALLY
It's totally indefensible position
.

Re: V+ box when already on XL tv?
I have xl tv and today I rang VM to enquire about getting my 1st V plus box. All I have to pay is a 49 pound installation fee and thats it. apparantly it will make my bills cheaper by 3 pounds a month. although this now means i have tied myself to a new 12 month contract.

Yup. The rules have now been changed. The first HD box on the account now costs the same whether you keep your existing STB or not
