Account Transfer Problems
Today ive had major problems with an account transfer...
The account is being transferred from my ex's name to mine and i was told when it happens there will be no service interuption. I woke up about 10 am and went to use the net to find that it wasnt working, no TV and no phone. I used a friends phone to ring virgin and they said that it was due to the fact the account was in the process of being transferred and someone from Customer Services would contact me in about an hour. 2 and a half hours later i hadnt heard anything so i contacted a person who had dealt with my ex prevous in their head office and he was totally lost at what was happening and why all products had been off for so long, he said usually u get a 15 - 30 min interuption but all in all mine had been off for over 4hrs.
He said all they had left to do was transfer the mac address from the modem from the old account to the new one and activate services and it hadnt been done and he did it. They hadnt even setup a new email address or anything for me, and he went through it all with me.
