Change name on account
Hi everyone,
I need to change the name on my Virgin Media account. What is the best way of doing it? Is there an address I can write to? Or even better a phone number?
Thanks a lot,
Tom

Re: Change name on account
Yes call customer services obviously, they will send the appropriate forms out for you to sign.

Re: Change name on account
Any person change, apart from the case of death or serious illness, costs £20 and is a new mandatory 12 month contract.
If you need to change the name due to marriage/deed poll or divorce, just sent appropriate documentation to the Swansea address on the back of any bill

 That is so annoying !
I currently have the account in my name but when I move out need to pass it on to my sister who still lives here. £20 just to update a name in a database.
Very bad !

Re: Change name on account
well...the reason behind the charge (or so ive been told !) is to help cover the cost of doing credit check on the new customer, sending the forms out etc etc...
silly question maybe...but has your sister lived in the house longer than 6 months? cos if she hasnt then a Transfer of Responsibilty wont be possible
