I wouldnt say it was price-fixing, as AFAIK those companies dont have some sort of agreement to keep prices inflated.

All companies sole purpose is to provide as much revenue for its shareholders as possible. So they would have looked at how many new customers would be attracted by a .75p a minute lower rate than the competitors and the amount of cash they would make by bringing their prices in line.

Few people would move provider becasue of an increase if all the other providers are the same price, and to get someone to move supplier the price difference usually has to be quite significant to warrent the hassle of changing.

i would like to take the offer withj virign media to have my bill each month e-mailed, saving me a £1 in my monthly subscription. I pay by direct debit.

Please debit £1 off by bills for paperless billing, our broadband package is almost up to be renewed called Broadband size M and Phone TV+ B B Bundle

to all the newbies. I'll reiterate what has been said above. Cable Forum is an independent support board. We are not Virgin Media and thus cannot do anything to your account. You need to contact Virgin Media direct to arrange paperless billing.
