Billing System Upgrades

So what's happening in this round of upgrades then? Who's still left on "legacy" systems at this point?

Re: Billing System Upgrades

Everyone has TV and phone on the VM systems

Customers with Area References 20,21,22 and 30,31 still have their internet (both dial up and broadband) on an ex-ntl system.

Everyone else's internet is on the VM billing system

I'm in area 30 and my internet has been on my tv/phone bill for over a year, though this might have something to do with me being on the vip package

Re: Billing System Upgrades

So does that include all the off-net (ntl freedom/virgin.net) folk?

Although you are billed on the VM billing system the broadband is still controlled by an ex-ntl system. Until mid-May anyway

ntll freedom no longer exists. It was shut down last month. People have either migrated to Beyond Cable (ex-Virgin.net), have left or a few ntl freedom areas were actually in ex-telewest cable areas, so customers have gone cable anyway.

I think there are plans to move Beyond Cable across to the same as everyone else, but I've got no idea on the specifics

Re: Billing System Upgrades

This system migration. Custoemr shouldn't really see any change. As they were already being billed on ICOMS, its just the provisioning was still controlled by SABS (exNTL system) They are moving the provisioning over to IIP (i think, not sure of the name but basically its the extelewest provisioning system thats linked to ICOMS)

At the end of the month all the custoemrs that still get a seperate bill for BBI will be moved over onto ICOMS

And then a few months after that all the Off Network accounts will be moved over including the VISP accounts like tesco.net and which.net. Some departments are just about to start taking calls for all customers whether there on net or off net.

Re: Billing System Upgrades

Well, there's one difference! I now log in to the selfcare.blueyonder.co.uk site to deal with email addresses/broadband upgrades. Although the email/PWP functionality seems to be broken!

Trying to add email addresses gives; You have reached or exceeded your limit of 15 mailboxes.

Editing forwards/auto responders sends you off to http://webmail.staging.mailtest.ntlworld.com/ - which I can't help feeling is incorrect..

It also doesn't seem keen on you editing the main username/password!
