BBand M - when did it reduce to £9?

Hi

I was recently looking at the new customer pages for a relative and noticed that the 'standard' price of Broadband M is now £9/month.

I have been on a 3 for £40 bundle for a while, which includes Bband M at £18

2 questions -

When did the 'standard' price reduce to £9?
Given that VM will quite happily increase prices, with notice, is there any legal precedent for not applying price reductions? (note they did apply the Phone L reduction from £5 to £3.45 a while back)

Re: BBand M - when did it reduce to £9?

Its not £9.

It is £11 for phone + £18 for broadband - £9 Phone & BB Saving = £20.

Marketing then take away the line rental which leaves £9

It still shows as £18 on all the bills

So is that one of those 'new customer' only deals?
£20 for Phone M & BB M
£11.50 for TV L
£3.45 Phone L upgrade
£34.95 which is a decent amount less that what I'm paying.

The bundle saving is £5.50.
The rest are 'standard' prices as above.

btw - while you're there - for my relative, if she has Phone, BBand and 'free' TV installed how much is standard installation going to cost - £30 total or £30 each?

Re: BBand M - when did it reduce to £9?

So with the £5.50 discount Marketing at Virgin would say you are getting your broadband for £12.50 per month

And it is £30 per visit, not per service. So if you have phoneline installed one day and then two weeks later phone back and ask for broadband you would be charge 2 x £30
