I was browsing the Virgin Media website yesterday and noticed that you can pay a
one off fee for the V+ box and not pay the £10 a month (I'm on TV XL) so I thought I'd go for it, the website said the charge was £100.
I rang them up explained about the page I'd found on the website and the CS guy went about sorting it out, he came back and told me I'd been paying £15 a month for my V+ box for the last 15 months and it should have been £10 a month. He sorted me out the £75 refund there and then and also said the one off charge had been reduced to £75! Did he do that as a good will gesture or has it been reduced to £75?
Either way, he was very apologetic and my monthly bill is even lower now I'm not paying the extra £15 a month I had been!
£31 a month for V+ TV XL, Standard Telephone, 10Mb BB and an extra V box with TV XL!
