Billing oddity!
You just know something isn't right when VM bill you £5.20 for the month!
I called and requested a V+ install on 12th December. They wanted the £75 up front so i gave them my debit card number.
They came in early Jan and installed the v+, all good but (as per my other thread) they didn't have a remote or HD cable... i digress.
My January bill came to £5.20, so i just stuck the usual £75 quid into my bill paying account and watched. Come the 19th Jan, lo and behold only £5.20 came out. What i should have done at this point was ring them up and ask what the feck?
But no, i'm a greedy ******* so i transferred the rest back into my normal account instead of calling them.
I get my bill yesterday and its a colossal £153! so i call them and fair play i get through in less than two minutes. Nice english bloke on the phone explains that the reason my January bill was £5.20 was because they used my debit card to pay the bill and added the £75 to my February bill instead!
So i told them i can't pay that much on 19th Feb, he agrees to cancel my DD for Feb, i call them and pay on 28th (payday) and re-instate the DD for March.
So if your bill seems exceptionally low, call them and save yourself a headache!
