xNTL: Billing to be Changed

I was told on the phone yesterday that come the end of March, the xNTL Billing system will be finished, and VIP customers will see their Broadband bill appear on their TV/Phone Bill, making one Account number instead of two.

I for one, am looking forward to this.

I get me Broadband bill about 9 days before the TV bill, and it would be easier paying it to one person at one time.

End of march was the original date, but it has been delayed. Im not sure by how much, May/June sounds right

I'm exNTL and on the VIP package and everything shows on the one bill, including broadband.

The seperate billing only applies to ex-C&W/Nynex/Videotron/Bell Cable Media areas. Everywhere else is already billed on a single account.

All ex-ntl provisioning for internet is still seperate though

Nope, because no-one is allowed more than one CM, no matter what billing system they are on

I thought SMS had 1 bill as do harmany as icoms bills these accounts ???

bytel SMS, one of the early GUI cable/telco billing systems, introduced in the early 1990's - it used to run on Ingres DB, of all things.

I implemented it in Watford, Leeds, Peterborough & Norwich, and helped fix it in Docklands and other places, before I moved over to ICMS implementation.
