direct debit

Ive only been a virgin customer now for around 3 months and so far i am totally frustrated and unimpressed with the way the call for the bills from my account. both times they have called for it early or added late payment charges even though my payments are always on time. does anyone know of someone at virgin i can talk to who will actually sort this out this time so it never happens again?

Yeah I had this problem too. I have called VM many times to arrange my dd date and for some reason they have failed to do it every time. Last night I got home to discover my dd had been taken on the 8/10/07. Well I dont get paid until the 15th of the month so my bank has charged me £30 for going over my arranged borrowing limit. This is the second time it had happened so I called VM customer services, they said they had no record of me calling, TWODDLE! So anyway I asked to speak to Customer Concern (thats who you need to speak to to get this sorted), she said that they are not customer facing. So I got into work this morning and within 2 mins of being on the internet I found the number and called them. I spoke to a man called Robert and he has removed all my late payment charges on account that they did not rectify this problem when requested to do so. He also gave me an address to send copies of my bank charge letters for them to process so they can refund me the £60 I am owed back due to them trying to take payments early. The number I called was 0845 650 3131, he was very helpful (which was amazing since most of them are IDIOTS who dont listen) and had me happy and hung up in less than 5 minutes. Seriously DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH CUSTOMER SERVICES, go straight to customer concern and get it done in 5 mins!
