Re: Billing System Upgrade

Don't forget that exNTL used to have 3 different billing systems. This is the last one to be migrated. It could have been you were on one of the previous systems in which case you would already be getting billed on ICOMS. So won't see any changes.

Re: Billing System Upgrade

at the moment it is only Harmony cust's who are being transfered across. Stand Alone Cable Modems (SACM) will stay seperate until next year....at which points Harmony/SABS will be no more! WOOHOO!!

Re: Billing System Upgrade

I switched over to VM again after a couple of years on ADSL while I wait for BE* to unbundled our exchange and free up our LLU line and I've still not had a bill.

It's been 3 months now and their answer is for us to wait for us to be migrated to the new system and for them to then bill us from the date we migrate. Still it's saved us £90.

I've got it in writing that they'll wipe any charges from the past billing system so I'd like to see them make it stick

I may get the large bill but I won't be paying it

Not actually true

Those people who get billed all on a single bill for bbi/tv/telco (ex-sms and ex-harmony/Langley) will continued to be billed on a single bill

Those who get the BBI seperate (ex-ICMS/Bromley) will continue to get the BBI seperate till next year

It was all supposed to happen in one go but to make sure it went right, the BBI migration has been postponed

update: sorry didnt see the other post saying this

Now I'm confused.. I called CS and ordered an upgrade to V+ and they've given me an install date of October 4th. I queried that with the CSR asking wouldn't that clash with your billing system upgrade, to which she responded that the billing upgrade would only affect broadband..

Your broadband is on the billing system due to be changed, your other services are on the system everything else is changing to, so they wont be affected.

Thanks for clearing that up. Just wanted to make sure that I would still be able to watch tv in the living room!
