Closed offers

Does anyone still have the flyer on the offers which closed on 31.12.2002 ? This was free installation & modem plus monthly rates which started at £14.99 for 128k, with a minimum 12 month contract. I had mine increased to £17.99 in April 2003, but I'm sure this was not an introductory offer. If anyone knows about this, I'd be grateful for the info.
Thanks, aswell

Re: Closed offers

The prices etc. can be changed with a months notice so even it wasn't an introductory offer the price isn't set in stone.

I don't have any of the old marketing stuff kicking about and with all the reorganizations and moving I doubt anyone in Ntl will still have any copies kicking about.

£14.99 was the price at the time you signed up. That wasn't an offer, it was the full price.

The price has since increased, just as supermarket prices do.

Re: Closed offers

The deal I took definately had a 12 month minimum term. This means ntl would not have been able to hike the price to whatever they liked, as it would have contravened the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations of 1999.

The only issue is, was it stated on the flyer that £14.99 was only a 3 month introductory offer ?

Re: Closed offers

In the Ntl Terms and Conditions it states the prices can change with 1 months notice. If they do then customers can cancel as long as they notify Ntl within 30 days of the increase.

When this price changed customers were given at least 2 months notice before the prices changed.
