Re: Itemised phone billing

In NW it's £1 for fully itemised billing or calls over 20p itemised for free

Same in Glasgow, Northern Ireland and South Wales.

Re: Itemised phone billing

You can us ONE-TEL and get fully itemised bills in electronic form- for free.
Only trouble is you have to use a dialer box and this adds a delay to all calls.

NTL are currently "harmonising" all the price structures across the country (happening in Cambridge in June). The new scheme is £1 for fully itemised billing otherwise only calls over 50p will be itemised.

Re: Itemised phone billing

Morning all,
NOttingham is £1.00 pm for calls under 20p, any calls over 20p are itemised. Like Cambridge, Nottingham will be harmonising later in the year with the other area's.
P.s Some old Diamond Cable customers are currentlky getting foc itemisations

Re: Itemised phone billing

Frankly I think it is a disgrace that any company in 2004 can seriously expect customer to pay for a statement of account. I do understand the reasons for, I don't acept that it costs anywhere like £1 (more like a few pence depending on how many sheets) - but can you imagine if your bank started charging you for your monthly statements on all transactions under £20?

I doesn't really affect me as I get free itemised from ntl anyway (carefully negotiated using the above as my argument!) It's not the £1, it's principle that a company can effectively not tell you what you've used without charging extra.

Re: Itemised phone billing

On BT you get the ability to view your fully itemised bills online and to sort the bills in various ways. Why can't NTL do something similar?

They may well be able to once they have "harmonised" all their different billing systems.

P.S. Along with the charge changes they informed that the Direct Debit would no longer be in the name NTL Cambridge Ltd but now NTL Triangle Ltd. What is the Triangle bit all about?
