haven't had any problems myself tbh, but what server is he on and has he checked the realm status pages? if they aren't too useful, try re-installing and re-patching.

hes installed 1.9 patch and am reading on wow forums that their tons problems with this patch lol typical
My realm (Turalyon) has been pretty dire recently for some reason with lag, etc. anyway, might put in a transfer request.
