does anyone play mafia II? - need some help

got a problem on mafia II on the pc that need some help with. about halfway through the slaughterhouse chapter i get stuck - literally. get through all the snooping and to where luca is. do all the shooting etc etc, but when you have to go chase him, i find i'm permanently stuck against the wall and can't chase.

has anyone else had this issue and do they know how to get out?

You mean you can't move anywhere? Never seen this problem and have completed it a number of times.

yeah sounds like you need an update perhaps? finished it straight through no problem

back against the wall, and can only move as far as the corner and thats it. no matter what combo of keys i try i just can't get out of that position at all.

tried it again, to make sure i haven't cross mapped a key when choosing my own. but still the same - i hate the double tap to get round a corner. but still stuck and can't get it to come off the wall for some reason (dunno if i'm missing a key combo but it's doing my coconuts in). should be up to date via steam - with only the one patch released

..............first mafia was never this bad iirc.

are you playing on a pc or console? I have cover mapped to a spare mouse key you click it again to move out of cover thats it

the only game I play you lot play is BC Vietnam and I do look to see if anyones on your servers but so far no joy

it's sorted now. spent half an hour going through all the key mappings - needed to check no crossovers with my merc k/b, but nothing wrong there. so in one last act decided to just reset all the mapped keys back to default and it was then ok. funny thing is that the key that should have brought vitto off the wall was a default key - hadn't been changed at all.
