Wii or Kinect for age 63+

Hi,

I am not sure if to get a Nintendo Wii or the XBox 360 Kinect, both around the same sort of price. It will mainly be used by my parents which are aged 63+.

The only down side to getting the Kinect would be, I would have to bring my XBox 360 downstairs, when they wanted to use it, not sure if I would like that or not.

But what would be the best for them?

Re: Wii or Kinect for age 63+

The Wii already has huge traction amongst all age groups, 60+ included. There's a reasonable chance that they may even be able to chat about games with their friends or maybe even swap them. My children think it extremely cool that their grandparents have a Wii!

Re: Wii or Kinect for age 63+

I think the Wii might be the better option, as Chris has said already there are already a large number of 60+ people playing the Wii, it also features quite often these days in physio departments.

certainly Wii Sports, especially the 10 pin bowling is a firm favourite with a number of older folks.
