Medal of Honor
well ive had the game for just over 10 days now, and too be honest its not even in the same league as cod mw2, yeah sure there are some good aspects to the game , multiplayer wise some good objectives thrown in there , single player seems ok so far what ive played of it, but it could have been so much better.....

Re: Medal of Honor
MoH isn't an Arcade shooter like COD...its a bit slower as its more like a Simulation. I've recently been playing Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, and thats REALLY slow, but that is supposed to be as close to real ops as possible.

Re: Medal of Honor
NTHW have been running servers for the PC multiplayer version since last week. The game has proven popular, but whether that is initial interest only, or that is has true staying power I don't know.
I haven't really done the single player, but those in the clan who have say they completed it too quickly. It lacked real depth. For most the game will be about the multiplayer.
At present the multiplayer lacks anything standout. It has a faster pace than BF:BC2, on which the game engine is based. However that means most players we see are working as individuals rather than any squad or team, and that leaves too many worrying about their own Kill to death ratio rather than any objectives. Personally, being the pants player I am, the faster pace and this free for all does often suit me and so I'm enjoying it for the moment.
It is easy to criticise the game though. I fear that the few maps available will get stale quickly. Too many of the maps have pinch points with the spawns appearing in line of sight from opposite sides of the map resulting in too much spawn die. There doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference in weaponry potency and there have been a number of complaints of getting shot whilst behind objects, as there seems to be a lot of latency built into the game. Some of these factors might be fixed in patches under development.
