well finally got round to installing f1 earlier this afternoon after receiving it on wednesday along with dead rising 2 , well first impressions its looks very nice and handles nice , and doesnt seem to have any of the bugs the pc/360 has suffered thank god

I haven't found any bugs as yet, but I can say I am disappointed with the game as a whole.

I play racers more than any other game and I know if I like a game pretty quickly, but this game from the off felt boring and even with all the driving aids turned off or tweaked I still don't feel gripped by it. The physics feel all wrong, the sound is terrible, the GFX are ok, and the gameplay is just so so.

I'd rate Grid 9/10 for PC as that plays well on every level, but I'd score this a 4/10. I don't think I'll be playing it much. Apart from that I feel a bit gutted.

I'm basing Grid's score as a 2008 game, I expected a lot more from F1. It's a bit like Dirt/F1, and I wished they did something new eg it has the trailer/outside interface the same as Dirt. Or it was more of a simulator or have the option to be a simulator.

Saying that, racing F1 style wasn't going to be 'fun' like Grid or the PGR series. Going round the courses for 12 laps feels like every race is an endurance race. But that's not to say F1 fans won't be disappointed with it.

Just because I didn't enjoy it, it doesn't mean you won't. It has scored a decent 8-9/10 on just about every review I've read. Some reviews have called it 'exceptional', so please take my own review (above) of it as just a personal opinion only.

I was just playing on Monza (GP 50%), started 17th by the third lap I was 1st, getting there Alonso hit me but I was to blame, (LOL) a few laps later he had spun and pulled onto the track in front of me. 10 laps from home I kept spinning me on a corner and wham down to 10th.

Turned off and walked away.

It is accurate with Alonso being a cheating scum bag.

Every time I pit as per their recommendation everyone else also seems to pit and my team make me wait until all the lane is clear before letting me leave. I had a 20 second pit stop!!!
