Enslaved: Odyssey To The West

Been following this game for a while. Been really, really looking forward to it. Possibly could be my GOTY if it turns out as good as am hoping it does. Out in just under three weeks (8th Oct). Its being developed by Ninja Theory and also had the motion capture worked on by Andy Serkis who also plays and voices the main character Monkey.

Game was worked on by an almost all british team from what i've read. Roll on the 8th

Enslaved is a story set one hundred and fifty years in the future where a global war has decimated the Earth. In this future, nearly the entire human race has been eradicated, but robots still plague the land. Although they are from a bygone era, they are still following their orders to eradicate the humans.

The main character in the game is called “Monkey”. He has spent his entire life running from the machines and is a solitary man. Eventually Monkey is captured by the death machines, where he is placed on an airship. It is there that he meets a technologically adept woman named Trip. Although they escape the airship working as a team, Monkey gets knocked unconscious at one point. When he comes to, he finds a mysterious headband that he cannot remove. It was placed there by Trip, who needs him to help her get home.

However because of his personality, she resorts to this magical headband, which will kill him if he does not follow her orders. As they try to make their way back to Trip's village they must fight robots that have been lying dormant for years. The two of them have a strained relationship but in order to survive this perilous world they need each other's help.

Demo is out now on the PSN and I assume Xbox Live to. Definitely worth taking a look at if you've not heard much about this game.

yes it looks great ive downloaded it not had chance too play yet , with the twins hogging move lol , i thought team 17's alien breed was a great game as well worth checking out

It looks interesting, the trailer reminded me of a movie trailer, not a game. I'll have to download the demo later on. It looks like it could be a good game.

It's Craigimt for XBL and PSN, I usually play Uncharted 2 or MAG. I have other games though.

Anyways, I have this downloading on the PS3 now, it's gunna take ages cos my internet is going slow.

Its a storey driven game and the kind of game I really enjoy. To much emphasis is put on multiplayer now for my liking. I still enjoy the good single player game thats got a good storey behind it.
