2011 is too soon. A GTA IV: [some island] maybe, but not GTA V.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V (GTA:V) 2011
Having only played the Episodic content for GTA IV recently I'd be happy to see were the series is going to be going. I've heard this rumour a couple times before though. Personally I'd like a new GTA before 2011 because they tend to last me a while but most other games I finish to soon and they just go on the shelf.
That being said we do have Mafia II comming soon(August sometime I think) and that looks brilliant. GTA style set in the 1940's/1950's. The city actually changes as you progress.

I agree. Maybe a GTA game based on the current engine and technology set in another location. Call it a point release maybe; just as GTA Vice City and Liberty City Stories expanded on the GTA3 core.
Major GTA releases tend to arrive when new hardware appears and I don't think the gaming industry is ready to withstand the release of a new generation of console in the current economic climate.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V (GTA:V) 2011
Yeah London would be good. I'd like it to have more open buildings like malls and stuff, i think that would pretty awesome on an online free for all.
Also loose the silly things like the computer email stuff and bring back planes, i know its not a flight simulator game but i would enjoy to have this back again.
I'd like to say custom cars and that, but im affraid it would take the game away from what it is and be replacing it with unnecessary extras. Go buy a car game right?
...oh an of course new fun glitches to find

Re: Grand Theft Auto V (GTA:V) 2011
I'm guessing that the largest market for the GTA series is the States so it would be a bold move to base the present game anywhere the Americans have to drive on the "wrong" side of the road. I'm not quite sure that they'd get our humour either whereas they seem to revel in their own self parody while the whole world also laughs at them from the outside

Re: Grand Theft Auto V (GTA:V) 2011
London would be great but I'd fear it might not do well in the states and I think Rockstar might think this to. It didn't do great last time they did it if I remember correctly. I kind of thought it was going back to Vice City. There seems to be alot of hints towards that in the Ballard Of Gay Tony episode.
I'd like to see some old character's returning through the game(From the whole series). I also love the idea of more indoor action to. They could take a leaf out of the God Father II book for that as they seemed to pull it off pretty well.
