Call of Duty Black ops preview
The latest of the COD series by Treyarch has just been previewed (teaser trailer. The first trailer will air tonight on Gametrailers TV. Due for release around November 9th

Activision will have to pull something pretty spectacular out of the hat to persuade me to buy from them again. After the shambles that is IW.Net and Modern Warfare 2 I'll be waiting for full release details.

It looked very jungleish on the trailer, but I also saw what looked like a Steyr Aug rifle which never saw action in Vietnam. Then again, they are not renowned for historical accuracy. Wiki says

I love 'em but I dont think you can beat the wwII type ones, the modern stuff like predator missiles do my head in, dont get me started on nukes. Calling in the dogs was much more fun. Im disappointed if Treyarch have gone modern, I even prefer the old type guns I thought the next one was to be an old vietnam type game . I had more of a laugh with mates on WaW its just not the same on mw2, its too hectic

I have to admit I played WaW alot more than MW2. I got fedup with MW2 after a week or so. I'm just happy EA put out BFBC2 on PC as I just love it and am still not bored of it yet.
I prefair to be able to vary my gameplay and thats why I've always been a BF fan were as COD does not give you these options.

Same here! Though I dont have a decent gaming pc so its ps3 for me and plenty of bfbc2. Only pain is all my gaming mates play COD so I get abit bored, miss the banter.
Anyway, on topic...I'm still looking forward to it I just hope it wont be a let down. I might return to WaW, just hoping theres still people playing it!
