New Tomb Raider: Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light

A title has been released for one game and will be a digital download.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. More info: http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/04/la...ginal-digital/

Not heard what the other will be named but a guess it will have tomb raider in the title.

I can't wait. I also hope there is some sort of mulitplayer in one, that would be fun.

Heard of this a couple days ago. Yes there will be MP in the Download one. Co-Op I beleive. I'm looking forward to it but not sure if i'll like it. I like Tombraider the way it is and to much messing around could ruin it for me. I'll wait and see.

I know what you mean. I can see that how it could work as long as it's thought through properly and not rushed. Good to hear MP is in the downloadable content.

Looks like this downloadable TR will be around £10. don't sound to bad. Guess we'll have to wait and see what its like though. They see to be following in EA's footsteps with BF1943 by the looks of it.

There's a trailer now over at Joystiq. It show's off alot of the gameplay. Take a look and see what you think. I'm not sure how its going to go down and still have my doubts but for around £10 I'd give it a try.

It looks good but I guess we will have to wait and see on the gameplay ourselves. I wonder how long it is and how the co-op will work. It will be interesting to find out. Cheers icestar2.

Your welcome buddy. It shows glimpses of the Co-op in the trailer and I think thats were the real Magic will be in this game. Seems like it could be fun

Lara Croft games are awful. They always have been. They would have rightfully died out years ago if it wasn't for teenage boys hormones.

Sorry but I disagree. The earlier TR games were very good indeed. The mix of action, puzzle and storey was something special and not really done on a console before. I very much enjoyed the earlier games. The puzzles were much harder and would have you stuck for days. I miss them days

I kind of disagree too, the newer games aren't a patch on the older ones, they don't even feel like TR any more, but although I'm most certainly NOT a teenage boy, I still haven't quite given up on ole Lara.

Yep, the earlier games were/are far better than the ones made the past few years. Core Design should never have been knocked off so quickly as they were not replacable in what we have encountered of late. I may install them on the PS3 sometime soon, well 1-5 anyway.

Re: New Tomb Raider: Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light

I really do hope its good. I'm probably gonna wait for the PSN release though as I don't really like the points system that Live uses tbh. Look forward to playing it though and seeing if it turns out to be any good. Still not sure if it can really work as a TR game but willing to keep an open mind
