EA Download Manager

My dad is currently downloading a game via EADM.

Where does it put it, so that it can be put on a CD and not take up HDD space?

I click on play and SFA happens

Re: EA Download Manager

The download is normally stored - C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Core\cache\YourEmail

As for playing the game once it installed there should be two ways. 1 is you can click play next to the game in the EA download manager the other is to launch the game normally from were its installed. Should be under program files\Electronic Arts or program files\EA Games

Re: EA Download Manager

Are you signed in when you launch the game ? You have to be signed into the DL manager when playing downloaded games. You could also try reinstalling the DL manager. I've heard of a couple problems that were sorted with a reinstall.

It's not something I've run accross myself sorry but if you can't get anywere contact EA support.

Re: EA Download Manager

As far as I know the game MUST be in the location defined by the download manager. You can register games you have purchased with the EADM at which time you can play the game without inserting the DVD.

That Said, my beta of C&C4 - Tiberium Twilight doesn't appear in the EADM, it has it's own launcher, but that may change when the final release happens.
