Red face Sims 2 Question (2 Player)

Hi All

I have the Sims 2 on my Desktop, and I have my Partners Laptop which also has the same game (For When I'm In Bed & Cant Sleep)

My trouble is that she has started playing this, with her own "Sim", but she is doing it on her Laptop, and it's like we are working two different games, well we are in a way arent we....

I was wondering how its possible to sync the save game files from my desktop, to her laptop, or perhaps theres another way we can do it, so that we are both at the same stage.

Basically, i want her to log onto her sim, and be up to date with what my sim is doing, and vice versa.

any ideas on this?

Re: Sims 2 Question (2 Player)

You can do it by manually copying the data folder from your partners neighbourhood folder and vice versa. Only problem with this is that if you both play at the same time you can't keep both of your progress, one has to overwrite the other.
It would also require you to start a new game I believe.

Re: Sims 2 Question (2 Player)

what i wanted to do is build my house and my family, then transfer this to her pc, but ideally i wanted to play the game at the same time she does, but it doesnt seem possible
