Just got this game last week after umming and ah-ing for a month or two, and I have to say that, although I initially found it frustating (online), once you get used to the slower pace and "oddities" (I say that 'cos I'm used to CoD) it actually plays a very good game, and is a very very good alternative to Black Ops.

What do you play it on? Cause it's certainly not slow paced. I play it on the 360 and I have loads of fast paced games.

i think it's slow paced in comparison to the close-quarters-round-the-corner-and-spray type of game play found in CoD, perhaps? maybe it seems slower because on a busy server, you can still be alive after a few minutes of play (sometimes a good 15 minutes or more depending on the map). BC2 doesn't have to be respawn after respawn if you play it right unlike (in my experience at least) CoD online, which tends just to be mass murder. saying that though, I do only play as Recon, so it may only applies to me!

I play on 360, and as the post above states, I believe it to be slower paced than CoD, the controls aren't quite as smooth either. However, the one biggie it has, it has the tendancy to feel epic during Rush matches, something I feel will never happen with CoD.

I'm getting fed up of CODs & battlefields due to some of the idiots on them.
Plus the yanks are very racist, I heard one guy come back with a chant "where's your towers gone" the yank soon shut up.

Change what server you play on. You'll find if you're on a clan server or like there are strict rules where ppl play together as a team. Enjoy!
