I did watch that earlier but it seemed to be mainly for console players?

What is the 'select' button for the PC without consulting the manual?

Also, my keyboard is a complete arse so I bought a Belkin n52te gamepad which is just as frustrating as the game at the moment ha ha!

so Tuftus go onto the NTHW server....on there is a playing called KannonFodda or is it MovedGoalPosts cant remember but he's easy picking so even you should stand a chance.

Ow his alter ego is Rob aka CF mod here. so I'll probably end up with either an infraction or something else nasty from him

Tuftus most of the clan are on the servers around 9pm most nights...I've been working late this week (dont finish till 10 and not home by 11.30) but most nights around anything really between 8pm and 10-11pm people will be online

Surely the game is the same, just the controls are different...?

Same principles re. forget MW, use your class correctly, squad up when possible, always mark/spot enemies, etc.

No idea what the button would be on the PC, but it must be in the control setup somewhere?

We are on most nights, but weekdays can be short and swift depending on who has to get up for work and stuff. Posting on the NTHW forums can often entice people who are just casually browsing to come on for a game.

I'm very much target practice for most players on our server What is apparent is that you should work as a squad, and you shouldn't necessarily rush in all guns blazing. Tactics do make a difference unlike many fps games. It also gets a bit easier when you've ranked up a bit and got a few perks and perhaps more powerful weapon options.

Biggest issue for BF:BC2 is getting a server populated sufficiently for the game to start scoring. That needs 4 players or more. Thus starting a server off needs a few to be wanting to play then the server will normally keep going for a while. It's why some servers are often close to full, and many sit idle. Having said that for anyone starting the game, smaller servers can be easier as you have a chance to learn the maps and work out what you might be trying to achieve without getting your backside kicked every five seconds (if Dutchie, Scary Paul, or even Liquid-S are in our server you will get your backside skinned every ten seconds .

Still got aced as often but when i did finally have a good game it crashed on me so i lost the points grr!!!

I need a new mouse now by the way, any suggestions?

BF:BC2 is supposed to be getting more reliable but crashes do seem to happen a bit too frequently. Maybe the next game patch will help

Some PC players have found that if they use a router they MUST NOT USE UPNP.

As for mice the Microsoft Sidewinder X8 seems to have a few fans. I've got the wireless version and love it. A couple of clanners have the wired version. Being able to program shortcut keys to the extra buttons, especially for knifing (sshh don't tell anyone I hinted at that) is very useful.

Will look at the router but i have a b*box so may not be able to get in to it that far as the buggers lock it down. I have unplugged the sky+hd box to see if that make a diff in the mean time tho.

Cheers for the mouse suggestion, about time i upgraded... It will serve my current mouse' batteries to go critical at a critical moment.

You'll probably note that a pre-requisite of NTHW users is that our computers get broke quite a bit. There are unfortunately quite a few epic threads on that matter
