The PC is my gaming platform of choice. And besides, it's not for the Xbox lol.

Re: Bad Company 2
FPS and Analogue just dont mix for me. I might as well just stand there with a kill me quick sign. I need my mouse and keyboard therefore the PC is my platform of choice for FPS games.

Totally agreed. I hate console controllers for FPS games. They're good for driving games and beat em' ups (like Soul Calibur).

Actually it would be nice if you were better at use of analogue. That way I might just survive a tad longer as you wouldn't be massacring me every five seconds

Re: Bad Company 2
PC all the way. mouse and keyboard is far better imo. plus, you don't get any of this crappy aimbot built in that I see on the consoles... just roughly get the crosshairs near and shoot... no thanks. I'm also not impressed that they have changed the way hardcore servers are filtered. seems like all hardcore servers now have 3D spotting on. I don;t want other people to find my targets. people don't run around with giant orange triangles about their heads... i hate that! it should be removed from the game totally!!

EA are heading towards three game derivatives - standard (or softcore) with crosshairs et all, medium core (the hardcore flag is set, but anything like 3D, teambalancing etc could be on), and hardcore (everything to make the game awkward is on / off such as teamkills on, but autobalance off). I think this might be due for the next client / server patch which was due this week but now delayed till next week due to bugs they've found in testing. The next client is possibly 500MB in size which suggestst to me that there will be additional formated maps too.

Re: Bad Company 2
I popped on to the NTHW TDM server last night, but I wasn't on for long (got a slight overheating issue that I'm sorting out) as my PC locked up lol.

Re: Bad Company 2
I guess this was not the game to get in to gaming with really
I am finding it so frustrating, playing for like 1 minute then getting fragged and having to respawn grr!

Re: Bad Company 2
Deffos don't give up, when I started on BC2 I was getting popped left, right and centre. Once you get into it with an excellent squad then time just flies by, I've had quite a few games with Matt and his mates and the games have went on for hours. (BTW Matt, those guys are awesome. Played loads of excellent games with Dog and Chait. Consistently the top squad in games we play)

Re: Bad Company 2
Yeah, DogEyedBoy & the rest are excellent.
I do like BC2 with randoms, but it makes *such* a difference when playing in a Squad with Friends.
I want to get back into BC2, but RDR is taking up my time at the moment.
