Re: Bad Company 2
What are the new maps like? Got back from Blackpool like an hour ago so I've not had time to check it out.

Arica - Conquest version
Laguna - Rush version
Not tried the Conquest one. Laguna on Rush is actually quite good. I didn't like it at first, but once you get used to it it's very good. Sniping, boats, vehicles, run & gun mayhem.

Re: Bad Company 2
It's out on the 360 now and guess what.... bugs! I spent about a minute trying to respawn earlier. Couldn't respawn wherever I chose and whatever kit I chose. Then suddenly I'm able to spawn again. 10 minutes later same problem, except I chose to respawn as assault and can't. Then I can, but what.. I'm in the recon kit I was in last time, before I chose to be assault. Ok, get killed. Can't spawn again..WTF is going on. Aha, respawned, except I'd chosen to spawn behind a squadmate and now I'm back in town. Start running and then suddenly Mr Scot has beamed me from town to behind my squadmate, who is in a tank, but I'm not in the tank, just inside the tank graphics!

Re: Bad Company 2
Bloody hell. Just played a few games with Matt and it felt like our team just stood there and let them kill them. That team we were playing were excellent though. Didn't help that they had 9 and we had 5/6.

Re: Bad Company 2
Yeah, they were good. Still a fun game though.
What annoys me is when people drop out 'cos of losing, & it sets off a chain reaction 'till you're the only one left! I had that on a later round - very annoying.
Had some good rounds after. Finally quit though as it was harder & harder to find a decent sized game.

Re: Bad Company 2
Had a few good games earlier. I got two 8 kill streaks in the first game I joined. If only the Assault guys listened to my requests for ammo (damn idiots) then maybe I'd of got an higher kill streak.

Re: Bad Company 2
Yep NTHW are currently migrating to a new Game Server Provider for improved flexibility and value in our lineup. There are quite a few licencing restrictions in running BF:BC2 servers and unfortunately our preferred GSP who had been providing our dedicated server couldn't get approved by EA/DICE. We've had no choice but to move GSPs since BF:BC2 seems to be so popular with the clan and our visitors.
Our new BF:BC2 setup should be in place by the weekend. Our CoD servers will move soon after. Any regular players will have to reset their favourites. Full details of our progress will be over on the NTHW webpages.
