Even nicer monitor?

Having dumped my twin llyama 22" Vision Master pro crt 514 monitors at the back end of last year (without straining my back) and never having stooped to using an lcd for eyestrain twitch gaming it was with some interest I noted the arrival of several 120Hz monitors to the market , the latest of which being an offering from Acer (GD245HQ) due out soon which seems an ideal replacement

At around the £300 mark this looks very good and a step up from the previous 120Hz offerings from Samsung and Viewsonic.

Re: Even nicer monitor?

you will need to wait till HDMI 1.4 before you can take full advantage of the 120 hz the report itself says that.

HDMI 1.4 also allows the carrier of the 3d signals for the new tvs which is exciting

Yes, me too. I'm waiting for the first few affordable IPS or PVA LED Monitors.

Although this Samsung LED backlit monitor looks rather nice.
