Re: New MOH game announced
Not Vietnam again.
I'd love a game set in a the current climate with a gameplay format which reflects the new type of our soldiers are facing. Guerilla warfare, citizens to avoid killing, etc.

Re: New MOH game announced
its not if you look at the main trailer its modern day
http://www.callofduty.com/blackops
I dunno if the clip posted is set in the past as a level in the game or if its somewhere else and not the Vietnam war timeline. There is a clip of it in the main trailer so it is for Black ops
im looking forward to both Black ops and Moh

Re: New MOH game announced
I have just pre-ordered through Amazon.
What is the process for getting the beta key - will Amazon just email it to me?

Re: New MOH game announced
@foreverwar
Sounds like you are not getting the game at launch date. Begs the question, how long after will you get it.

Don't know - Amazon are still stating 15th October release date.....
Play.com have announced the same free upgrade, with a few more details of what you get extra with the Limited Edition.
Quote:
Buying Medal Of Honor: Limited Edition will give fans the opportunity to join the 'Battlefield 3 Multiplayer BETA' when it goes live. BETA access details will be included within the game packaging. BETA access details are subject to change at any time.
MP-7 - Exclusively in the Limited Edition, is a weapon utilized by Tier 1 Operators in the field. With its light weight, high rate of fire as well as its ability to penetrate body armor, the MP7 handles like a pistol yet allows targets to be engaged like a rifle
TOZ194 and 870MCS Shotguns and Slugs - Get instant access to these two devastating shotguns and more powerful ammo for close-range fights
Spec Ops Class Camouflage - Players can don this unique camouflage to help them disappear into the environment as well as distinguish themselves from the other standard grunts

I dont think thats the case at all. I think its just a plain upgrade but still for launch. For some reason it seems they are not getting the bog standard edition. If it were delayed that would of been specifically mentioned imo.

HMV also have the Limited edition at the same price as the standard edition. I'm guessing that they may all be upgraded in this way for some reason. Or maybe selected retailers for some strange reason. Good news anyway

Re: New MOH game announced
Point taken, it does look like free upgrade but same date.
Which is good. I'm considering getting the game, but don't want this and black ops. (I only have so many hours of my life to play )
