Brutal Legend
Anyone been following this ? I had heard of it but didnt think it would be my thing tbh. Anyway yesterday I decided to download the Demo from the PSN (I assume its on live to but have not checked) and I am very, very happy I did. Its looks like it going to be a very good game and very funny indeed.
I surgest anyone to download the Demo on your console of choice and give it a go. I think you'll find its awesome. Plus it stars Jack Black
Looks to have some awesome MP to. I can see this game doing very well. Only problem for me is its out same week as Uncharted 2

Some Wiki Info for you -
Quote:
Brütal Legend is an action-adventure game under development by Double Fine Productions and to be published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is scheduled to be released on October 13, 2009 (stylised 'Rocktober 13' in promotional material) in North America and October 16, 2009 in Europe.
The game will feature the character of Eddie Riggs, voiced by Jack Black, a roadie who was transported to a fantasy world inspired by the artwork of heavy metal album covers. Eddie becomes the world's savior, leading the down-trodden humans against a range of supernatural overlords using a battle axe, his Flying V guitar infused with magical powers, and a customizable hot rod. In addition to Black, the game will feature voices of heavy metal musicians including Lemmy Kilmister, Rob Halford, Ozzy Osbourne and Lita Ford and other celebrities such as Tim Curry, as well as more than one hundred metal songs selected by Schafer for inclusion in the game.

Re: Brutal Legend
Finiahsed the main storey a couple days ago. Very decent game. Just got some side missions to do and am yet to try out the multiplayer side of things. shame it only sold 216k copies but it did launch against Uncharted 2 and then had COD:MW2 to deal with shortly after.

Re: Brutal Legend
everyone I know with the game has said how enjoyable it is, as you say Icestar I think the reason for the slow sales was the other titles released around the same time.
I've only had the PS3 a while but it really has rekindled my love of gaming, just that now there's too many games I want to buy. Will try and pick this up at this great price though if I can I downloaded that DLC for it while it was free for when I got the game.
