Game version puzzle

Hi guys, how do I tell what version of a game I have? I've just installed Brothers in Arms Opposing Fronts and I wanted to make sure it was up to date so I clicked update and was taken to the official website. I was faced with a page full of patches but I am unsure which to download. The patches are all over 1gb so I don't want to DL one that is useless. There is no mention of the version on the box, disc or manual, any ideas?

For most windows programs, the version number is displayed when you click 'help' and then 'about'. I'm not sure if this applies to games though.

Your version number will probably be in game somewhere.

Do you mean Company of Heros Opposing Fronts? If so then this might be the latest patch.

For either CoH or BiA, download steam, register your key and see what version they have for d/l
