Thats true with even some of the earlier games looking better on the 360. This was to do with ease of building a game on hardware developers were used to. We are now starting to see the PS3 starting to pick up in this area due to developers getting used to its hardware. This is mostly seen in First party games which are actually build on the PS3's hardware rather than being ported.
I agree with what Stuart and Wicked says to. Its all about the money and its cheaper to just do port's rather than build a game from the ground up for each system. Also this would cause massive time delays to a game's release which in turn equals even more cost.
Thats the problem with multiplatform games these days. Saying that with the Sim 3 launch being so successful even with the piracy issues that hit it developers might start looking at the PC again and hopefully start making game's FOR the PC rather than just giving it port's.
I Want my FPS games on PC like you Zing. Its just not the same on a console tbh.
P.S. This was meant to be a two sentence reply lol. Guess I got carried away.
