I took today off work, to play this (gotta use my holiday for something!)
... And I'm sitting here repeatedly staring out of the window wondering WTF the bloody postman is
Useless.

Just picked up the Collectors Edition from Game. Should keep me off the streets this evening.

Re: Red Dead Redemption (360/PS3) [Rockstar's GTA-esque Western]
Due to the Royal Mail failing me (RM van, postie with a mail cart, another RM van... but no game), I went into town & bought this (I'll return the pre-order for a refund when it finally arrives).
Not done much so far, but I love it. Done a mission for Bonnie, a mission for the Marshall, & a couple of random things (killed some outlaws riding through town, & some on a trail).
Had my first duel earlier. Didn't read the tutorial though, so dunno WTF you have to do.

Random.
Some guy in Armadillo called me out.
It was the last mistake he ever made...

Well Tesco did a good job getting the game to me today as they only dispatch yesterday .I may use them in the future. Only played 20 mins or so of the game. Seems like its going to be alot of fun. Can't wait to play some more.

Sorry to hear that Matt. RM really do suck. I've waited on items stuck with them plenty of times before. Glad to hear your enjoying it though m8

it doesn't half start off slow... if you have a short attention span like me then it's tough going to motivate yourself to stick at it.

Re: Red Dead Redemption (360/PS3) [Rockstar's GTA-esque Western]
OMG, love that sort of ending. I can't find the final mission. I've got one secret achievement left and I've looked it up and it's a mission. There's no labels on the map though...

Re: Red Dead Redemption (360/PS3) [Rockstar's GTA-esque Western]
This game is awesome.
I've done the first section now, in New Austin, and am about to head to .
I love the random side stuff too, even though sometimes it can be a bit repetitive.
I was riding my horse, & came across a broken down wagon, with a woman next to it asking for help.
I stopped, & immediately a group of gunmen jumped out from behind it & tried to attack me.
A few shots from my Winchester, & the varmints were all dead. The woman started pleading for me to let her live. "Please sir, they made me do it!"
I gave her the benefit of the doubt, & let her run away.
A few days later, I saw her again, pulling the same trick with a new group of gunmen.
I killed the gunmen, lassoed the woman, and dragged her behind my horse 'till she died.
