Are you addicted to gaming?

Just thought I'd ask everyone's opinion on this?
I'm addicted, i play to much, i bet I'm not on my own either???

Yup, I play games far too much. Well I play them so much that I'm currently doing work for uni which has to be in tomorrow and next week. I've had this work for months...
The fact that I recently purchased a PS3 doesn't help either. It's just distracted me even more.

I got given a 360 and am already a pc buff :P
But It's taken over my t.v, not my life, I'm not that far gone, but the games that are out these days, you just have to play em, there too good

most nights after dinner about 7pm I'm on X-Box Live, as you know its then you meet up with a few friends and chat as you game.
The amount of times I or someone else suddenly says, " oh no its bloody 1am" or even later

happens all to often.
The worst time though is when you buy a new release, in that case its not unusual to see 4am or 5am on the clock, the good thing is though that in the GB new games come out on a Friday, having said that I'm picking up "Battle-stations Pacific" tomorrow.

Yeah, it's just when I try to do work I get distracted by games to play.

I reckon they'll be some crackers to be revealed out when e3 is on, i think that's in June?

Thats right m8, June 2-4th. Already sounds like some great games to be seen. Never mind any that may not yet be announced

Looking forward to hopfully seeing some solid dates for some games I've been waiting a long time for like Heavy Rain and Alan Wake but am not holding my breath to much.

Yes I play a lot, and occasionally can find myself in front to fhte computer till the wee small hours. In the past I've still been online at 4:00am when the clan server has kicked me for it's nightly reset. Or I've been overindulging in some strategy / puzzle thing that is never ending like SimCity or Empire Total War.

But equally, it would be hard to say I'm addicted. My xbox 360 gather's dust and probably has had less than 30 hours use in over a year. I haven't gamed on the PC since last Friday.

I do wish Connect 4 hadn't been added to this forum's arcade though.

I definitely wouldn't say I am addicted, the only consoles I own are a pair of PSPs (second one was payment from someone for a repair to a satnav system) which half the time get used to watch films or play music. I own a gaming spec PC, but that's because it was the best value when I was searching. The only games (other than the ones shipped with windows, or the ones I have for my PSPs) I own are Command & Conquer 3, C&C3 Kane's Wrath, and Red Alert 3. I hardly play on them. The only game I play semi-often is a half hour here & there on Dark Orbit (Free online game)

I would not say i am an Addict, but when i do start to play, i can play for hours on end, wil ldo that then for a few weeks and then take a break for a few weeks then.

I have too many other things to do to get too addicted for too long..though I'm still playing Fable 2 when I can get the TV/XBox to myself for long enough to make it worthwhile.

Work keeps getting in the way.
