re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
The pre order price is shocking, £44.99!
Where is the best place to get this? No matter how good it is, it isn't worth £45!

You'll probably find much better deals comming up closer to the release date. I'm holding out on pre-ordering for a while for this reason.

re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Although I'm really looking forward to playing MW2, I've been reading up on another game that looks to be coming out in Aug / Sept '09...
Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising...
Watched some demos, read some news articles etc...This game looks absolutely fantastic...on a par with MW if not better...
Has anybody else seen the trailers etc..for this game ?

Yes and that game will be closer to the BF series rather than the COD series. I will be picking up both

re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Urm... Activision are cashing in on the success of previous games with a retail price of £55 for the normal version of the game. The prices of the limited editions are still to be announced in the UK.
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/gaming/a...nch-price.html
I think I'll wait till closer to the release date when all the deals start for Christmas.
