Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Stimulus package out on PS3 today!

Im currently downloading the stimulus package but its going sooo slow!
Im on Virgin's 50mb and don't have any speed issues doing anything else, so getting it is even more of a tease

There are 7 318MB files to download, and it's downloading 1MB every 3 to 5 seconds.
The frist 2 flew down, but the remaining arn't so fortunate.

Anyone else having issue's? Is it as simple as too many peeps downloading perhaps? Thankies

Update: fixed itself on the 4th download, still not that fast but reasonable enough, last one almost done

Tbh I find it hard to believe anyone would be willing to pay £10.99 for 3 news maps and 2 rehashes. Bloody disgusting imo and I wont be purchasing it.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

I posted this on the NTHW forum earlier so might as well post it here too.

And interesting article about problems between Infinity Ward and Activision:

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Ok so I've just been playing only to find out thatif I want to play the new maps then I can't choose if I want to play team deathmatch, domination etc you have to let the game choose at random what type of match it is. Is there a option somewhere to change this?

An wow it's like some of these maps are just made for camping, so many spots!

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

I think you'll find after the initial madness passes they will soon fall in normal rotation with the rest of the maps. This is how it happened on the Xbox.
Salvage, Storm & Bailout are excellent. Crash and Overgrown are dreadful maps.
