Comanche 3 by Novalogic. I spent many hours on that game. Loved it.

Let me know how you get on with it. Or if you have any questions .
I've never actually finished it but I have gotten very far. My only problem is my favourite bit of the game is the starting months so I tend to only get so far into it and then start again.

Now you've reminded me of Tomahawk - a helicopter flying game on the Speccie. Spent hours becoming an expert on that one

Jet Set Radio (Jet Grind Radio)

I'm a huge fan of that game and I would love to see a proper next gen sequel....saying that Sega would probably make it a wii exclusive and balls it up

same problem with me... I like the building of the base, research a bit but hardly can be asked to go either for those lovely terrors at cities or anything with Ethereals involved or even a large sectiod ship (as I most of the time havent researched the psi things too much)

---------- Post added at 23:11 ---------- Previous post was at 23:03 ----------

couple of old games I wouldnt mind seeing again in more up to date graphics:
LHX (helicopter sim, flying either a Osprey, blackhawk, apache, or the LHX which is roughly the same as the Comanche)
Retaliator (another flight sim)

those were the 2 main games I used to play on the pc till Civilization came out (lost quite a few hours on that over my life)
