No, I only got it for him because his ds has a broken hinge. He does like playing with the camera and I've put some music on it for him, but I wouldn't say it's worth upgrading just to get the extra bits.

Re: Nintendo DS - R4/Edge Cards
I have an ezflash v but I want to change that for a card that will play gameboy advance games/homebrew so was wondering if anyone knew of a card that would do that?

this is what i use
http://www.m3adapter.com/SLOT-1_Series_M3DS-R.htm
you need the GBA expansion pack to be able to play GBA games/homebrew, not many people are selling them now though so you'll be lucky to get one
and here is the list of GBA Homebrew games and apps also NDS homebrews

Re: Nintendo DS - R4/Edge Cards
We ordered the r4i for our younger girls new DSi from http://www.r4ds.co.uk/ a couple of weeks before Xmas but it never arrived. After using the live chat on the site only today they`re sending a replacement out tomorrow.
We`ve also had the DSTT chips for our older girls DS`s for quite some time now and they`ve always been just fine.

Re: Nintendo DS - R4/Edge Cards
Ok I need a bit of advice, my mum wants one of these cards for mothers day and I was wondering if any of you had suggestions of which one to get her (since she is just a beginner), thanks!

Re: Nintendo DS - R4/Edge Cards
r4ds have some m3 cards in stock for a fair price. Buy without a memory card and use a sandisk instead as the generic cards they sell em with are a lot slower
