Re: Nintendo DS - R4/Edge Cards
When I got my M3 Real with a 4gb card it cost me over £50 - this time last year. Still a bargain for what it does though ;-)

Re: Nintendo DS - R4/Edge Cards
Isn't it illegal to talk about the R4's then since your running roms on them?

Re: Nintendo DS - R4/Edge Cards
Nope, because there are legitimate uses for them.
Not everybody runs roms that they've acquired illegally, and not everybody just gets the cards to enable to run the roms

Re: Nintendo DS - R4/Edge Cards
Got my Edge card and a 4GB Micro SD card. Its fantastic, pretty much a clone of the Evolution card.

Well isn't it the same principle as a dodgy cable box? You can use it legally, say freeview or 1-5, but you can also steal channels?
Don't see where the difference is between R4 cards and Chipped Cable Boxes.

Re: Nintendo DS - R4/Edge Cards
But quite simply no-one woud buy a dodgy cabe box just to watch 5 channels plus it's against the T&C's to plug one into the cable system.
Where as lots of people buy these the R4/Edge purely for the homebrew aspects...

Not the same in the slightest. These carts are mainly used for home brew games and for turning the ds in to a multimedia device for music and video files.
