GTA 4- Help, tips and strategy.
I thought Id start a thread, where gamers can post problems they are having in certain parts of the game, also strategies anyone may think helpful and general tips. Between us we should find a solution to most problems, from who to help, and when, or just when to blow someone away no questions asked. In the meantime, watch your back on the deadly streets of Liberty city.

Yep, nice idea.
As it's the same on both 360 & PS3 though, I think I will move it to the main Gaming forum.

Cheats:
http://uk.cheats.ign.com/ob2/068/827/827005.html
Accessed using the mobile phone.
But beware: Using cheats means you don't get Achievements.
I think I'll save them until after I've completed the main game, before going mad with RPGs & infinite ammo etc.

Re: GTA 4- Help, tips and strategy.
Well I've just completed the level Three Leaf Clover (the bank job), and it has to be the best mission so far (brilliant gaming experience). It's a toughy but the only way I could do it was stop off at the armoury and pick up some body armour on the way. Without it I don't think you have much chance.
Whatever you do, do not pass on this level as the rewards are well worth it.

I'm going to get this game in about an hour, was just wondering, does using any cheats at all effect you getting achievements?

I think it does and it says in the stats within the game 'cheats used...'.
Anyway, I don't think you need to cheat on this game, it would spoil all the fun, if you get stuck look for strategy info instead.

Just turn off autosave if you want to try the cheats. Not all of them effect the acheivments though.

Re: GTA 4- Help, tips and strategy.
Do the cheats mess up the game like they did with other games where it would start crashing?

Just did that mission lastnight. It was hard but so much fun. Agreed its easily the best mission yet. Didnt expect it to be so long lol. Armour and plenty of ammo is a must for this mission. The odd grenade dont hurt either
Well worth it as PeanutKp says. A great reward at the end of it.

Re: GTA 4- Help, tips and strategy.
I'm stuck on the mission where you need to kill the 3 strip club bosses, i kill one of them then go out into the club and everyone opens fire on me, is there an easy way of doing this, like which boss is the best to kill first?

Hi Shadow, Ive not long completed the "Undressed to kill" mission myself, and as you say its quite tough, but this is how I did it.
First off make sure you have full health and armour, then walk in the club with no weapons in hand, as you leave the lobby in the main room walk up and eavesdrop the conversation of 2 guys by the railing on the left, they talk of a manager counting money in the back. A red dot shows where, creep in draw your baseball bat and kill him before he shoots.
The second conversation to eavesdrop is just past the stage on the left, a guy talking to a stripper, he is talking about how to pronounce the name "Javier", a red dot shows the second manager, but don't kill him yet.
Make your way to the private dance rooms at the back, as you approach the room on the left a bouncer says,"Jesus test drives all the new bitches", this identifies the manager behind him. As soon as you fire all hell breaks loose, so try and target the manager "Javier" in the main dance area, this leaves the third one in a confined space, just take cover and pick your shots with care. Good luck.
