Once your friendship is high enough with dwayne, you can call him and a bunch of his crew come along that can assist you in missions

If you kill Derrick, it allows you to call Francis to lose your wanted level. I'm not sure what it is if you kill Francis.

Another way is to steal a boat and keep circling the islands until you hit the 5mins, then if you head out to sea, they'll eventually stop chasing you. Finished - Tips are in car chases try get something big so you can afford to take a couple knocks. Always buy body armour. I was buying it after almost every mission lol. Have plenty of big guns. Have a couple spare rockets and grenades to if you have the spare cash. Oh and when in a gun fight use the cover system it really does help.

another tip for car chases, they are relatively scripted and when the script runs out, they are a lot easier to kill so don't waste bullets going for early kills just take your time

Agreed.

Another little tip is to slow down into corners. Dont handbrake turn every corner at full speed your just going to increase your chance of losing control and the enemy getting away. Brake early accelerate out of corner. Dont worry about them getting away just because they have turned a corner because most the the chases have straight parts that make it easy to catch up to them.

Excellent advice icestar, especially when the race starts at that first turn all the AI cars go berserk trying to get in front, invariably taking each other out, if your not in front by the first bend hang back a little and watch the carnage before overtaking the crashed masses.
