No one was in, 360 was turned on. It was they own fault. Bloody idiots!

Brings a whole new meaning to the frequent gamer statement of "I'm on fire tonight"

Re: Xbox 360 burns house down
Lets be honest folks, who here can say they unplug the power cord overnight or when they go out, because I certainly don't. Having said that, I no longer keep the brick on the carpet because of the heat it pumps out, it now sits on a couple of of video boxes and doesn't get nearly so hot because it can "breath" on all sides.

Re: Xbox 360 burns house down
Why do so many electrical devices have separate power supplies. Simple the main device can be standard for use across the world, just the power supply having to change to suit local voltages and stuff. Cheaper than having to make loads of derivatives of the same main article.

Re: Xbox 360 burns house down
That article isn't totally correct. It mentions the power supplies getting recalled. That was the original Xbox. Also according to when I read that elsewhere on the net at the weekend the guy's 360 had the RROD so why he kept it switched on is anyones guess!
