Assassin's Creed...poor graphics?
Hello all!!
Last year when this game came out on PS3/XBOX 360 I didn't have either console, so I pre-ordered it for my PC.
I received it on Wednesday after an extremely long wait, (for Christmas I actually got a PS3 but I didn't think of changing my order) and so installed it.
I have a high spec PC, so putting the game spec on full wasn't an issue, but while playing it I couldn't believe how utterly terrible the graphics were! Pixellated, blurred, even through live sequences I couldn't make out faces.
I'm wondering, could this be due to me using a 32" tv to play it on? All my other games are perfect at 1360x756 but this was so bad I had to turn it off.
Or should I just send it back and ask for the PS3 version?

Send it back and get PS3 version...I'm playing it at the mo and can't fault graphics...I don't see PCs as gaming machines these days...too much to go wrong...at least with a console theres no upgrading every month to play each new game.

Yeah, it is a good game. It's a bit repetitive though.

Re: Assassin's Creed...poor graphics?
Its a good game imo, but the controls on the PC port lead a lot to be desired

My GFX card was £315 new when it came out, now I bet you can get one from the Pound shop half price sale! LOL
I've still got one of those single-core processor thingies LOL. Still, it runs what I want it to fine (er, apart from CoD4 lol). But recently I was going to be upgrading it, but I spent just over £300 on a new mountain bike instead. Crazy stuff lol
