can anyone tell me how u setup this thing plz i have plugged the red & green into my sound slots i get music but cant seem to be able to set the mic up any help would be great thanks
The headphone socket is green, and the microphone is red/pink. Check the sound options to make sure your mike is not muted and the volume is up (double-click the volume icon in the task bar).
Double click the speaker icon in the taskbar tray and bring up the sound volumes.
Go to Options and then Properties and choose the Recording option. Then make sure the Microphone is not muted and volume is correct.
Also check as some motherboards use some ports for surround sound so make sure it is set to be used as a Microphone.
right i am getting somewhere now got it working in the windows setup including the microphone but not on my battlefield 2142 i tried to without uninstalling 2142 but no options as to install cause it knows it allready installed my worry is if do uninstall then reinstall i will loose all my progress and i dont want to lose it as i have allready spent over 75 hours playing it
