Runescape - anyone know about it?

Hi

Does anyone know anything about the Runescape online game? (Other than what it says on the site!)

My 12yo and his friends have just started playing it and I wondered if there was anything sinister I should know about it.

I used to play it a couple of years ago, but that was before it went 3d.

There is nothing sinister about the game... it involves killing a few monsters, chatting with other players, and doing quests to build up particular skills.

There is a bit more information on www.runevillage.com but i would say it is definately safe for 12 year olds

but one word of warning... it is *really* addictive so i hope your son doesn't have too much homework to do!!

Ahh runescape, many hours of my life wasted on that game back in the day.

As mb said, if there is anything sinister about it its how addictive it can be..

Nothing of bad content in there plus there is swear filters and such on.

He doesn't have his own computer so he'll have to give way to me playing RomeTW & HL2
