Projector for gaming?, yes a projector!

Hi everybody,

Was talking to a friend of mine who said that when he was a student he lived with some serious game geeks (I will be one soon) . One of them had an xbox with Halo running through a projector on their living room wall. I was wondering if there are any gamers out there who use this method for pc, PS2 and xbox games. Just the thought of call of duty that size on the wall or on a pull down screen really butters my parsnips!!. I have been looking on ebay for them and they seem quite expensive, know any places that do them new at good prices?

Regards, Chris.

I've played Tiger Woods Golf on one in my living room with the sound through my cinema system - Top...

If you find a cheap one, jsut check the life span of the blubs and then how much the blubs actually cost, I know someone who paid £650 for a projector and then the blubs were £85 each (no I haven't missed the .)

Yeah I've seen some bulbs for sale at over £200.
Projectors are still too expensive in my opinion for a really good one.

Re: Projector for gaming?, yes a projector!

Yep, a gaming colleague at work has one. Money's not really a problem for him though ...he drives a Skyline too, the git!

Haven't seen it in real life, but have seen photos of it (or should that be him?) in action, and I was astounded at the quality. I was expecting the sort of projector that used to be used in my Geography lessons at school 20 years ago, but it wasn't quite like that

If you're a cheapskate like me, then have a look at this
