Re: Top 20 games for 2004
Numbers 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 are certainly not games I'd ever rate as "top", I mean come ON .. Shrek 2?
What about Half Life 2, Doom 3, Far Cry, UT2004, Rome Total War?

This was because it was only released on PC and, compared to console titles, sold in relatively small numbers.
Also the novel distribution system adopted by developer Valve meant that many players downloaded the title rather than travel to the shops to buy a copy.
Valve has yet to release figures which show how many copies of the game were sold in this way.

Re: Top 20 games for 2004
Yeah, HL2 is probably only being counted by viviendi's sales, which are probably rather small.
Not only that, there were only 6 weeks worth of sales for it in 2004, compared to 52 weeks for everything else.

Flight Sim 2004 was release in August 2003, Windows XP was released in either 2001 or 2002, and Halo PC was released in October 2003 and wth is "Battleship 3010" ?

Re: Top 20 games for 2004
I wouldn't have any football games on that top games list, what fun is kicking around a ball?
HL2, Unreal 2, UT2004 and CS : S would be the main ones on my list.
